Hello, meat lovers and CHOP enthusiasts!
 
We’re thrilled to announce that CHOP Butchery will be participating in the upcoming Castle Towers Jobs Fair 2023. This exciting event is set to take place from Tuesday, 15th August through to Saturday, 19th August at Castle Towers Shopping Centre, located on level 2, Centre Court.
 
The Jobs Fair, which was a huge success last year, is a fantastic opportunity for local job seekers to connect with retailers and partner brands, including CHOP. It’s a chance to engage directly with businesses operating within the centre and explore genuine employment prospects across part-time, full-time, and casual roles.
 
But it’s not just about job opportunities. Attendees will also have access to recruitment services, training, and educational resources. It’s a great chance to learn, grow, and potentially join our amazing team at CHOP.
 
We’re particularly excited because this event gives us the chance to meet you, our customers, face-to-face. We’d love for you to come along, learn more about what we do, and explore the opportunities we have available.
 
Participation in the event is completely free for all. However, 1:1 interview sites are limited, so if you’re interested in taking part in the campaign, we encourage you to register early to secure a spot. You can do this by completing the online form here.

Your meat will be delivered Cryovaced, which is a superior form of packaging that allows fresh goods to be kept fresher for longer.There are some effects of using Cryovac packaging, but we believe these few are outweighed by the advantages. Specifically, the meat will change to a darker red colour while in the packaging due to the lack of exposure to oxygen.

The meat will also sweat while in the packaging and this can result in an unpleasant smell when you first open the packaging ( this is not an indication of the freshness of the meat).

To overcome both of these effects all you need to do is when you’re ready to eat your meat, simply remove it from the packaging and leave it out for 10-15 minutes. When out of the packaging and exposed to oxygen again the meat will slowly return to the usual red colour.

Once you have removed the meat, simply rinse out the bag and throw it in the bin and the smell will disappear too.
