PREMIUM CUT FROM BLACK OPAL: WAGYU SCOTCH FILLET 4-5 MBS (BLACK OPAL)

FOR THE MOST LUXURIOUS OF ALL THE BEEF STEAKS, CHOOSE OUR WAGYU SCOTCH FILLET

When it comes to flavour and quality, nothing rivals wagyu. Its stunning marbling and strong flavours create a unique dining experience. For the greatest beef available, look no further than our wagyu scotch 4-5 MBS black opal. This beef is top-notch, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a rich, complex flavour.

We recommend grilling our wagyu brisket for a slightly longer period of time; medium-rare to medium. This is due to the excellent intramuscular fat, which caramelises and becomes delectably crunchy.

QUALITY DINING, IT MUST BE WAGYU SCOTCH FILLET BLACK OPAL

OUR WAGYU SCOTCH FILLET 4-5 MBS BLACK OPAL OFFERS A CULINARY EXPERIENCE THAT YOU WILL LOVE

Many individuals believe that wagyu is the best beef available. This is because of the exceptional flavour and texture. Many people believe that wagyu cattle have remarkable intramuscular marbled fat because they are raised in a stress-free environment and fed a nutrient-dense diet.

Furthermore, while most people prefer rare beef, Wagyu steak is unique. This delicate beef is best-served medium-rare to medium-rare. Wagyu’s superior intramuscular fat caramelises slower than other forms of beef, but when it does, it becomes wonderfully crunchy. Even if you cook your steak for a little longer, it will come out deliciously soft and flavourful.

GETTING THE BEST OUT OF YOUR WAGYU

Although there are numerous ways to prepare Wagyu beef, we’ll focus on the most fundamental today: pan-frying followed by slicing. Wagyu beef cooks best at room temperature, so take it out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Season the wagyu with rock salt and cracked black pepper as the skillet heats.

When the pan is heated, place the steak flat and cook for a few minutes. Cook the second side of your wagyu steak in the same manner as the first. Be careful to baste the meat with the juices while it’s cooking. Remove the wagyu beef from the pan and set it aside to rest for a few minutes. Remove the skirt and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

Five Founders Beef

Carbon neutrality is Five Founders’ first step towards its long-term plan of delivering a greener future for the planet. Being ‘carbon neutral’ means carbon emissions produced by Five Founders (cattle) from paddock to plate is balanced out by funding an equivalent amount of carbon savings elsewhere in the world – as their journey to net zero continues, reducing their footprint through operational initiatives, such as implementing various renewable energy solutions, planting legume-based crops and trialing feed additives that reduce methane emission from its cattle.

From paddock to plate, Five Founders beef is the first beef product to be certified carbon neutral in Australia.  Born and raised in northern Australia, free to roam across 6 million hectares of the most pristine, natural environment for 600 days and grain finished for 100 days, Five Founders has no added hormone and is distinctively juicy and tender, with a well-balanced buttery sweetness.  Its beef as nature intended.
